Privacy Guardian Review:
Summary:
Privacy Guardian is a great privacy product with a great feature set. It supports nearly all web browsers, contains a large list of plugins, and allows you to create custom cleaning definitions.
Features:
Privacy Guardian contains most of the critical Windows and web browser cleaning options as well as a large number of additional plug-ins. Privacy Guardian allows you to create custom cleaning definitions, specifying files and registry locations, however, you will need to be familiar with the locations where various programs may store their tracks so you can provide this. Privacy Guardian contains a permanent erase feature, similar to those found in our higher ranked products, called Bleach. Privacy Guardian also has a customizable scheduling feature.
Usability:
Privacy Guardian has a clean, well organized interface dividing the main sections of cleaning. You can then expand each individual section and choose the areas that you want to clean. During cleaning, a status and report is displayed.
Effectiveness:
Privacy Guardian did a great job cleaning the selected items.
Support:
The help file included explains all options. Their online support was excellent. |
